New York Knicks stud Josh Hart is a tell-it-like-it-is kind of dude. This is exactly why he’s found so much success with his podcast, Roomates Show. The fact that he has superstar teammate Jalen Brunson is on there has a lot to do with the popularity of the program, too.
In a recent episode, Hart decided to take aim at the Los Angeles Clippers by slapping them with a brutally harsh statement about their smaller brother status in LA.
New York Knicks’ Josh Hart Clowns Clippers
According to Hart, the Clippers will never be the team in LA. The Knicks forward believes that the Clippers will forever have to settle sitting in the shadows of their bitter cross-town rivals:
“[LA] will never be a Clipper town, ever… That’s like New York. Ain’t nobody rocking with Brooklyn,” Hart said (h/t Legion Hoops on Twitter).
You have to note that Hart spent the first tow years of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, so there has to be some bias there. Then again, there’s also no denying that the man has a valid point.
Hart also hit two birds with one stone here by taking a jab at the Brooklyn Nets. While the cross-town rivalry between the Knicks and the Nets may not be as bloodthirsty as that of the Lakers and the Clippers, the two New York sides have divided the fandom within the city as well.
Now we know how Hart really feels about Brooklyn.
