Phoenix Suns big man Jusuf Nurkic did not waste much time to pounce on the Golden State Warriors after watching Draymond Green and the Dubs lose to the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, 118-94.

The loss to the Kings ended the campaign of the Warriors for an NBA title this season and probably also formally signaled the end of the Golden State’s dynasty. But for Nurkic, it only meant one thing — a time to revel over the misfortune of a hated rival, particularly Draymond Green.
Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic Has Beef History With Draymond Green
Nurkic and Green have lobbed verbal shots at each other ever since the Warriors forward hit the Bosnian Beast in the face back in January. Green finished the Kings gamer with 12 points, six assists, and two steals in 35 minutes. While the Warriors are in for an early vacation, Nurkic and the Suns are preparing for their first game in the 2024 NBA Playoffs.
The Suns made the top-six of the Western Conference standings with a 49-33 record and are scheduled to face the No. 3 Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the postseason. The series will begin on Saturday in the Twin Cities, with Nurkic expected to play a crucial role in the middle for Phoenix.
Nurkic will be mostly busy in trying to contain Minnesota’s frontcourt which features Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, and Naz Reid.
