Jalen Brunson has been tearing it up of late for the New York Knicks. If the NBA gave out an award for a postseason MVP then the All-Star point guard would certainly be one of the frontrunners amid his blistering run thus far.
The Knicks, however, might have no other choice but to pump the brakes on the Brunson hype train. This is after the 27-year-old suddenly popped up on the injury report heading into Friday’s crucial Game 3 matchup against the Indiana Pacers.
New York Knicks News: Jalen Brunson Questionable to Play in Game 3
According to the official injury report, Brunson is considered questionable to play on Friday due to a foot injury:

This is the same issue that forced Brunson to sit out the second quarter of Wednesday’s 130-121 victory over Indiana. The 6-foot-2 point guard returned to the game in the second half after deciding to play through the injury.
It is now unclear if Brunson aggravated the injury or if the foot swole up overnight. Either way, the Knicks superstar is now in real danger of missing Game 3 on Friday.
OG Anunoby Ruled Out for Game 3
Unfortunately, that’s not all she wrote for the Knicks. OG Anunoby, who also suffered an injury in Game 2, has now been ruled out for Game 3 with a hamstring strain. This means that New York could be without two of their best players as they look to steal away a road win against the Pacers on Friday.
Hamstring injuries can be tricky, and it would not be a complete shock if Anunoby is forced to miss more time beyond Game 3.
At this point, there’s no denying that the Knicks are getting really banged up as they get deeper into the postseason.
