It would probably be safe to say at this point that San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama has found his groove. After a relatively slow start to his debut campaign, the 20-year-old has been absolutely tearing it up of late as he puts the entire basketball world on notice.
Wemby kept his foot on the gas on Sunday, producing yet another gem in San Antonio’s 117-105 win over the Indiana Pacers.
San Antonio Spurs Star Victor Wembanyama Keeps It Going Vs. Pacers
Wembanyama came out with a massive statement on Thursday as faced off against Rookie of the Year contender Chet Holmgren and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Spurs big man finished with 32 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, and five blocks as the Spurs took down the top-seeded Thunder, 132-118.
Wemby kept his streak going on Sunday with another mind-blowing performance against the Pacers. The Frenchman astonishingly racked up 31 points on 11-of-17 shooting, 12 rebounds, six assists, a steal, six blocks, and three triples.
As it turns out, Wemby is the first rookie in NBA history to achieve these dizzying numbers in two straight games:

He has now also joined Spurs icons David Robinson and Tim Duncan for yet another all-time rookie record:

Wemby is an efficiency monster, too. He’s doing all this in just 28.7 minutes per contest, which makes it even crazier:

Those are some pretty insane numbers over his last eight games. What’s even more mind-numbing is the fact that he’s more than capable of keeping this up for the foreseeable future.
