Chicago Bulls’ Zach LaVine Has Perfect Reaction to Coby White’s Michael Jordan-Like Performance

With the Chicago Bulls’ season on the line, Coby White stepped up and gave Michael Jordan-like performance against the Atlanta Hawks. Like many others who saw the game, Zach LaVine recognized how his teammate just played his heart out on the court.

Just recently, the Bulls got the 131-116 victory over Atlanta to secure a playoff spot via the Play-In Tournament. White posted 42 points by connecting 15 of his 21 attempts from the field, nine rebounds, six assists, and two steals. DeMar DeRozan made 22 points, while Nikola Vucevic tallied a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds.

The Hawks, meanwhile, had four of their five starters score more than 20 points. Dejounte Murray dropped a 30-point performance and Trae Young had 22 points and 10 assists. Clint Capela and Bogdan Bogdanovic had 22 and 21 points, respectively.

The win helped Chicago get one step closer to the playoffs, granted they beat a Miami Heat team without Jimmy Butler in it. If they do, they get the chance to face the Boston Celtics in the first round. The Hawks, on the other hand, are eliminated and will face tough Trae Young-related decisions during the offseason.

Chicago Bulls’ Coby White Gets Hyped-Up Reaction From Zach Lavine After Insane Performance Against the Atlanta Hawks

White’s performance against the Hawks seemed worthy of Michael Jordan, undoubtedly, the best player to ever play for the Bulls. This claim is backed up by a post StatMamba shared on X:

Coby White joins Michael Jordan as the only players in Bulls history to record:
    40+ PTS
    5+ REB
    5+ AST
    0 TOV
Among those who have given White his flowers is Zach LaVine, as seen in a reaction he posted on X:
“COBY!!! Special performance @CobyWhite,” LaVine tweeted.
After several seasons of not playing to his full potential, White is finally looking the part of a possible All-Star guard. Over the course of 79 games, the Bulls star averaged 19.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.

Thanks to White, the Bulls have a chance to make the postseason this year. If they do, expect the point guard to put up a lot of games again for Chicago.
