Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry was visibly upset after seeing Draymond Green get himself ejected in the first quarter of Wednesday’s matchup against the Orlando Magic. Green just couldn’t help himself as he relentlessly barked at the referee over a call the Warriors veteran clearly disagreed with.
The Warriors managed to secure a much-needed 101-93 win in Orlando despite Green’s early ejection, and it was thanks to a concerted effort from the entire squad.
Golden State Warriors Star Stephen Curry Reacts to Draymond Green’s Ejection
Curry, who finished Wednesday’s win with 17 points, four rebounds, 10 assists, and three triples, spoke to reporters after the game and naturally, he was asked to comment on Green’s early ejection. The GOAT shooter got brutally honest in his response:
“All I’ll say is we need him,” Curry said. “He knows that. We all know that. So whatever it takes for him to be on the floor and available, that’s what’s gotta happen. Especially at this point in the year.”

Curry could not hide his disappointment here, but you have to commend the Warriors talisman for remaining diplomatic. There’s no way he’s throwing Green under the bus despite the fact that the latter may have deserved it.
To be fair, it was Green who was the first to greet Curry in the locker room after the big win. The former Defensive Player of the Year even busted out Steph’s famed night-night celebration after Curry ended Orlando’s night with a dagger trey in the dying moments of the game.

You have to say that Green would have been in a much different position if the Warriors lost tonight.
