The Golden State Warriors pulled off a huge win on Tuesday night as they took down Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, 104-100. As expected, the game went down the wire between these two Western Conference powerhouse sides.

This showdown was desperate for a hero to emerge and carry his team to victory, and so that’s exactly what Draymond Green stepped up to the plate for.

With a minute and a half remaining in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s showdown, Green came in to save the day for the Warriors. Golden State was up by six points at that point, and Dallas had a chance to make it a two-possession game. Draymond made sure that this was not going to be the case:

That could very easily be the play of the day for Golden State. In fact, Warriors veteran Chris Paul claims that Green’s heroics stand out as one of the most amazing plays he’s ever witnessed throughout CP3’s time in the NBA:

“I told Dray, ‘Man, that might be one of the best plays I’ve ever seen in my career, and I’m not exaggerating, man.’ … Somebody like me who likes defense, I can appreciate it.

“It’s well documented me and Dray’s relationship before I got here. But it’s something to see night in and night out. The way he competes. He willed us in this win tonight.”

Thanks to Green’s game-sealing block, the Warriors were able to secure their fifth straight win. Golden State increased their advantage over the Houston Rockets to three games for the 10th and final Play-In spot in the West.
