Both the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets kept their respective feet on the gas on Wednesday by logging much-needed wins amid the extremely tight Play-In race out in the West.
The Warriors powered through a 101-93 victory over the Orlando Magic despite Draymond Green’s first-quarter ejection. The Rockets, on the other hand, have been absolutely on fire of late, and they amassed their 10th straight win on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, in overtime 132-126.
Rockets’ Tari Eason Trolls Golden State Warriors
It comes as absolutely no surprise that the Rockets players have been extremely hyped about this scorching-hot streak. In fact, second-year power forward Tari Eason could not help but call out the Warriors moments after Houston’s statement win against the No. 3 seed Thunder:

With both teams winning on Wednesday, the Dubs remain just one game ahead of the surging Rockets for the 10th and final Play-In spot in the conference.
Draymond Green Claps Back
Warriors veteran Draymond Green caught wind of Eason’s call-out, and the former Defensive Player of the Year could not help but respond to the Rockets youngster. As expected, Green clapped back with his own brand of savagery:
“Tari Eason had comments,” Green said. “Why would he come out and make a video telling the Warriors to come out and play? Everybody in Houston had a heart attack when he did that.
“… Shout out to the young fella. … Part of the reason why I like Tari Eason is that he would come out and do that. When I saw it, I wasn’t surprised at all. I am a little surprised that he hasn’t played in a game since January 1st. So it’s kind of tough to come out yelling, ‘Come out and play’ and you not gonna play. You can’t go out there and help them. But I respect it.”

To be fair, Green did not go full savage on Eason. The veteran even stated that he gets where Eason is coming from amid all the excitement surrounding their run. However, Dray just had to remind the kid that he would be better off making such a statement if he were actually going to “come out and play.”
