The race for the final Play-In spots in the Western Conference is heating up. The Golden State Warriors suffered a brutal 114-110 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, which dropped the Dubs to 36-34. The Houston Rockets, on the other hand, have won eight in a row and are currently just one game behind Golden State for the 10th and final Play-In spot in the West.
Warriors star Draymond Green, however, isn’t sweating it one bit.
Golden State Warriors Star Draymond Green Goes Full Savage on Rockets
Speaking to the media after Sunday’s tough defeat against the Wolves, Green was asked to share his thoughts on how Houston’s recent hot streak now has them threatening Golden State’s spot in the Play-In tournament. In response, the former Defensive Player of the Year dropped a savagely disrespectful eight-word statement:
“I don’t give a damn about the Rockets,” he said.
“How much are you guys tracking the #Rockets?”

That’s a typical Draymond response for you. Green is a no-nonsense kind of dude and he just gave his brutally honest thoughts on Housotn’s Play-In chase.
The truth of the matter, however, is that Green and the Warriors cannot afford not to give a damn at this point. The Rockets are all of a sudden one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now, and they could be out to spoil Golden State’s party.
For what it’s worth, the Dubs have won both of their games against Houston this season. They face off one final time on April 4th in a showdown that will have major implications on the playoff race out West.
