The Golden State Warriors are looking to get back to winning ways on Sunday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves following their 123-111 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday.
Veteran point guard Chris Paul wasn’t even able to finish Friday’s defeat after the 12-time All-Star got ejected in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter. CP3 has now revealed exactly what he said to referee Tony Brothers to warrant two quick technical fouls and an ejection with just 22.6 seconds remaining in the ballgame.
Golden State Warriors’ Chris Paul Breaks Silence on Ejection Vs. Pacers
Paul does not exactly have the best relationship with game officials. He’s also known to be quite a savage trash-talker. Both qualities were on full display on Friday night, and it isn’t a complete shock that the 38-year-old was removed from the game now that he’s spoken out about his exchange with the referee.
Speaking to the media after Friday’s tough loss, Paul revealed that he got on Brothers’ nerves by calling the game official a Tik Toker.
“Oh man, old Tony.” Paul said, via . “He was talking to me, I talked back. I called him a Tik Toker and I got a tech. The first one. I just said ‘Tic Toker’ and he gave me a tech. The second one, I just said ‘that’s too much power,’ gave me another tech. … He the judge the jury and all that.”

When asked to explain what he meant by the jab, though, Paul kept mum and just alluded to Brothers’ power over the players during games.
Paul finished the game with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting, two triples, six rebounds, and four assists in 25 minutes off the bench.
