Any basketball fan who witnessed Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark explode for 41 points in their epic Elite Eight win over the LSU Tigers would have been impressed by the 22-year-old’s showcase of offensive brilliance. After all, Clark is one-of-one, and the way she has taken the NCAA this season has been a sight to behold.

Clark has been so good that she’s got even the biggest of NBA stars taking notice. Just ask Luka Doncic.

Iowa Hawkeyes Star Caitlin Clark Gets Extreme Praise from Luka Doncic

Doncic is one of the biggest stars in the NBA right now. In fact, the Dallas Mavericks superstar is one of the frontrunners for the MVP title this season. However, even he concedes that Clark is a better shooter than he is. According to Luka, the Hawkeyes guard reminds him of another NBA superstar who happens to be the greatest shooter of all time.

“That’s the women’s Steph Curry,” Doncic said. “She can shoot it better than me.”

That’s some pretty lofty praise from Doncic. However, you can’t really say that he’s wrong.

I’m pretty sure Doncic, and even Curry, will be tuned in to Clark and the Hawkeyes when they attempt to take the next step in their extraordinary campaign. This comes in the form of a Final Four matchup against No. 3 seed UConn Huskies on Friday.

Clark is already in the midst of a historic season, but she has an opportunity to achieve even more come Friday.
