When healthy, the Los Angeles Clippers are easily one of the best teams in the NBA, with many believing Kahwi Leonard and company have what it takes to win a league title this season. But that’s the thing with the Clippers, their stars have been susceptible to injuries this season.
On Tuesday, the Clippers saw Kawhi Leonard leave the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with thoracic spasms. Adding to the concern for the Clippers and their fans is James Harden’s uncertain status.
Is James Harden’s Shoulder A Concern For The Los Angeles Clippers?

After the 118-100 loss at home to Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves, Harden was asked about his availability for Los Angeles’ Thursday game versus the Chicago Bulls on the road, and his response wasn’t too comforting to hear for LA supports.
Via Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times:
James Harden has injured left should and was asked about playing for Clippers at Chicago Thursday: “We’ll see tomorrow how I feel.”

The Clippers will have a full day of rest on Wednesday, which should be beneficial for Harden. However, the Clippers could potentially play it safe with the former league Most Valuable Player and let him rest the game against the Bulls. Harden is averaging 17.4 points, 8.3 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game in the 2023-24 NBA season. Against Minnesota, Harden had 12 points, seven assists, and two rebounds.

If Harden or Kawhi will need to miss time, Paul George will get an increased load on the floor, while the like of Norman Powell and Terance Mann could also see an increased uptick in usage and minutes.
