Buddy Hield is one of the names often linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, who have an intriguing summer ahead of them. But another Philadelphia 76ers pending free agent could be a potential target by the Lakers in the upcoming offseason. That’s Kelly Oubre Jr., who could bring a lot to the table for whichever team he ends up with next.
Kelly Oubre Jr. could be a tough get for the Los Angeles Lakers

Even if the Lakers want to bring in Oubre, it could be easier said than done, given how he’s projected to command a high asking price in the market.
Via Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times:
Is it possible to have a Lakers offseason without mention of Buddy Hield? Of course not.
Hield’s Philadelphia teammate, Oubre, was one of basketball’s biggest bargains last season and is in line for a nice raise this summer. It’s unclear whether he played himself out of the Lakers’ price range.

Oubre earned just a little over $2 million with the 76ers this season, which was an absolute bargain, as mentioned by Woike. With Philadelphia, Oubre averaged 15.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals through 68 games, including 58 starts. The Sixers are rumored to likely re-sign Oubre but the door must still be open for another team, like the Lakers, to swoop in and poach him from Philly.
