We have officially seen the last of LSU Tigers head coach Kim Mulkey and her attention-grabbing outfits this season. This is after Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes eliminated the Tigers in what turned out to be a tremendous Elite Eight showdown on Monday night.
Mulkey spoke to reporters after the game, and this gave her the opportunity to share her blunt parting shot for Clark after the latter’s masterful performance in the game.
LSU Tigers Kim Mulkey Had Special Message for Caitlin Clark

According to Mulkey, she got brutally honest in her post-game message for the Hawkeyes superstar. The Tigers shot-caller bid good riddance to the WNBA-headed guard:
“What did I say to her? I said, ‘I sure am glad you leaving,’ Mulkey stated. “I said, ‘Girl, you something else. Never seen anything like it.'”

Mulkey also had nothing but high praise for Clark as the Tigers head coach acknowledged how she is a “generational player.” Mulkey also admitted that there’s just no guarding a superstar like that.

True enough, Clark torched the Tigers in their showdown on Monday night. The 6-foot guard finished with 41 points, seven rebounds, and 12 assists, while also knocking down nine triples.
I guess Mulkey and LSU can take comfort in the fact that it required an iconic performance from the greatest scorer in Division I history to end their title defense this season.
