NBA News: According to former NBA champ turned ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins, he is adamant that both Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley do not watch basketball games. In a recent tirade, Big Perk took aim at these two Hall of Famers, who now ply their trade as analysts for NBA on TNT.
Apparently, Perkins isn’t pleased with the inputs both Shaq and Barkley come out with whenever they’re on the air, which prompted some savagery from the outspoken former NBA big man.
NBA News: Shaq Drops Mic on Kendrick Perkins
Perkins blatantly called Shaq and Barkley out for their takes on the New York Knicks. While he didn’t say it directly, Big Perk pretty much accused the pair of being casual fans:
“It’s obviously (that) they don’t watch basketball. I’m serious, they can’t watch basketball on a consistent basis. The only time they actually probably watch the Knicks are when they’re covering the Knicks on their game nights,” Perkins said.
Shaq caught wind of the criticism and the four-time NBA champ just could not help but clap back at Perkins with a diss of his own:
can a non hall of famer speak on two hall of famers just asking

Savage.
I’m not entirely sure if Barkley has already responded to Perkins’ comments, but you can be sure that he won’t be in agreement with the former Boston Celtics center. Shaq and Barkley aren’t exactly best friends, but they seem to have found a common enemy in Big Perk.
