Jaylen Brown forced a crucial turnover with 10.0 seconds remaining, and he would go on to hit a corner trey in the succeeding possession to tie the ballgame. The Celtics secured the win in overtime, 133-128.
After the game, Brown was asked to share his thoughts on some supporters jumping the gun. The Celtics superstar sent a subtle reminder to these fans about waiting it out until the fat lady sings.
“Welcome to the NBA Playoffs,” he said. “… The game is not over until the final buzzer sounds.”
