Caitlin Clark will appear in the upcoming latest installment of the NBA 2K game series. On the court, Clark performed impressively in shooting on all fronts. The developers decided to include these exact acts in her game version, which is attributed to her high offensive skills.
Some lucky insiders who had gained access to the early version of NBA 2K25 noticed the Indiana Fever star’s attributes in the game. The most noticeable one was the rating assigned to her three-point percentage.
The rating given on Caitlin Clark is 95%. However, this is just according to the final premature versions of the game, so it still needs to be confirmed. If this rating persists in the first version, on September 4, she’ll be on par with the NBA’s three-point legend Stephen Curry.
In the game, the Warriors forward is confirmed to have a three-point rating of 99%. Clark would follow then if her 95% rating was applied. The WNBA rookies are noticed to be higher even with veteran sharpshooters of the NBA, such as Grayson Allen, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant.
Clark’s three-point rating in the game mirrors her real-life downtown shooting. As of 30 games, the two-time AP Player of the Year averages 33.3% in deep shooting. She also has 41.2% overall field goals. Supporting this is a high average point output of 18.0.
The X post also displayed the Iowa Hawkeyes’ alumnus’s other stats in NBA 2K25. She is graded 83 in driving lineup, 86 in free throw, 87 in mid-range shot, and 88 in close shot. Clark’s ratings are low in standing and driving dunks, just 25. Overall, her average stats are equivalent to 90.
The three-time Big Ten Player of the Year’s average makes her the highest among the rookies in the game. She’s tied with fellow WNBA first-year Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky. Both players would contend with each other in their next match on August 31.
Caitlin Clark continues to display herself as a promising rookie.
Throughout the regular season, Caitlin Clark had contributed significantly to the Indiana Fever. Besides magnificent shooting, she also contributes to the support role, currently leading the WNBA in average assists, with 8.2.
Recently, the Fever upset the top-placer Connecticut Sun by four points. Because of this, Indiana had placed itself third in the Eastern Conference division and seventh overall in the league.
This game also made Caitlin Clark break another WNBA record for most three-pointers made by a rookie. She has now made 86 shots from downtown, surpassing Rhyne Howard’s record by one.
