It was a simple ad, but it gave a powerful message. The photo had Doncic shouting in celebration after a play, with the words “It was only a matter of time” typed out on the top. It was a terrific show of support for the 25-year-old who is averaging 28.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 8.8 assists this postseason.
Fans were ecstatic with the marketing and immediately showered Gatorade with praise:

While the marketing is great for the Dallas Mavericks, they know that they cannot rest on their laurels against the Boston Celtics. They convincingly took down every team they faced in the playoffs and proved themselves as the team to beat. It will take Luka and the rest of the roster to overcome the odds and win.
However, the Mavs are used to being the underdog. Not many analysts and fans believed Dirk Nowitzki and company could overpower the Heatles, but they won it all in six games. Fans can count on this team to do it all over again and bring another title to Dallas.
