Iowa Hawkeyes legend Caitlin Clark produced a performance for the ages on Monday night’s Elite Eight showdown against Angel Reese and the LSU Tigers. The greatest scorer in NCAA Women’s basketball history dropped another 41 points on Monday as she led the Hawkeyes to a 94-87 victory to book their place in the Final Four.
How good was she, might you ask? Well, the in-game reactions of Reese and Tigers guard Hailey Van Lith pretty much sum it up.
Angel Reese, Hailey Van Lith Reactions to Iowa Hawkeyes’ Caitlin Clark Go Viral
Clark was on an absolute heater against the Tigers. The fact that she drained no less than nine triples on the evening is a clear testament to this fact. Van Lith was Clark’s primary defender throughout the contest and she simply couldn’t do anything to prevent the offensive onslaught from the Hawkeyes superstar.
Reese, who came into this game with a high-profile rivalry with Clark, was also left bewildered by the latter’s insane performance on Monday night.

Simply put, LSU had no answer to Clark’s heroics on the evening. To be fair, no college defender out there could have probably stopped the 22-year-old from erupting on Monday night. Clark was a woman possessed as she drained triples from crazy distances.
Clark and the Hawkeyes now head to the Final Four to take on No. 3 seed UConn Huskies on Friday. Van Lith and the Tigers, on the other hand, bid farewell to Reese as she ends her college career on a sour note.
