Los Angeles Lakers news: Former No. 2 overall pick Malik Beasley has dropped his take on the raging GOAT debate. The 35-year-old has also made it clear that there is no doubt in his mind that it’s LeBron James who has the biggest claim to this title.
Beasley was pretty passionate with his argument and I’m pretty sure Michael Jordan stans arentaren’t going to like this one bit.
Los Angeles Lakers Star LeBron James Gets Glowing GOAT Endorsement from Michael Beasley

Beasley took part in a polarizing conversation during the latest episode of The OGs Show with Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem. According to Beasley, the fact that James is currently the only player to have reached 40,000 points in his career is living testament to his GOAT-ness:
“I feel like people that say Michael Jordan is the GOAT, no disrespect but y’all just holding onto old feelings,” Beasley said. “[LeBron James] got 40,000 right now… How are you gonna sit there and say he’s not the best ever?”

For what it’s worth, MJ scored 32,292 points in his 15-year career. LeBron, on the other hand, is now in Year 21 and has 40,225 points to his name — and counting.
Nate Robinson Claps Back at Malik Beasley

As I said previously, MJ fans aren’t going to agree with this take from Beasley. True enough, former NBA star Nate Robinson has clapped back at what he feels is an audacious claim from Beasley. The latter responded with a savage diss on Robinson, referencing his knockout loss to Jake Paul in an exhibition boxing match some three years ago:

This whole GOAT debate has certainly put more than a few friendships to the test.
