Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James may have been sidelined for Tuesday’s marquee showdown against the Milwaukee Bucks, but this did not stop him from actively participating in the game. The NBA’s all-time leading scorer passionately watched from the sidelines throughout the contest, which included a savage moment involving Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo late in the game.
Los Angeles Lakers Star LeBron James Counts Giannis’ Free Throws Down
With 24.2 seconds remaining in the second overtime period, Giannis had a chance to cut down LA’s lead to just one point. He was awarded with two attempts from the charity stripe after being fouled by Lakers forward Rui Hachimura.
LeBron was standing right in front of the Lakers bench as Antetokounmpo took his free throws, so the Bucks talisman must have seen James from the corner of his eye:

LeBron literally counted down Antetokounmpo’s free throw in anticipation of a 10-second violation. Opposing fans usually bust this out but since they were playing in Milwaukee on Tuesday night, James had to do it himself.
Giannis ended up missing both attempts from the line, and the Bucks would go on to lose 128-124.
It’s a shame LeBron wasn’t able to suit up in this one as we would have been treated to the latest iteration of this monumental individual matchup. Anthony Davis stepped up for the Lakers, though, and he produced a massive performance against Giannis and Co. to lead LA to their 40th win of the season.
