Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic couldn’t stop trolling his teammate, Derrick Jones Jr. After Jones fell into his prank on Tuesday, the Slovenian star made sure to rub it onto his face further.
Sure enough, the vibes are just immaculate for the surging Mavericks.
Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic Pranks Derrick Jones Jr.
Late in the fourth quarter as the Mavericks were blowing out the Sacramento Kings, Doncic had the chance to relax and had some fun while on the bench. Unfortunately for Jones, he was targeted by the superstar guard for his hilarious prank.
As Jones was heading to the bench, Doncic fooled him by making him think there was something on his jersey. As Jones looked down on the area that his teammate was pointing at, Doncic then proceeded to poke him in the face.
Doncic laughed hysterically after tricking his teammate. Mark Cuban was on the background and saw everything that happened, and the Mavericks’ part-owner couldn’t hold back his laughter as well. Meanwhile, Jones simply couldn’t believe that he fell for Doncic’s trickery.
Sure enough, Mavs fans absolutely loved the moment and quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to join in the fun.
“I just love that my superstar can still act like a kid from time to time,” a supporter said. Another fan shared, “Mark was also concerned with what was on Jones. Luka got both of them lol.”
“Love seeing things like this. This a TEAM right now!” a third commenter added.

Unfortunately for Derrick Jones Jr., Luka Doncic’s trolling didn’t stop there. Right after the game, the Dallas Mavericks superstar took to Instagram to keep poking fun at his teammate.
On his Instagram Stories, Doncic shared a video of his prank and captioned it with, “Rookie mistake.”

Sure enough, Doncic is just having a lot of fun right now. And who can blame him? The Dallas Mavericks are thriving, and they are now up to the sixth seed in the West–one game clear of the Sacramento Kings after beating them during the Tuesday showdown.
Dallas has also now won their last five games, and with 10 more remaining before the season ends, it looks like they are peaking at the right time.
That’s definitely enough reason to keep Doncic and the rest of the team in jovial mood. They definitely need that as they look to improve their chemistry even more.
