The Milwaukee Bucks pulled off a massive win on Sunday by taking down the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Fiserv Forum, 118-93. Milwaukee did not only defeat the No. 2 seed in the West but they did so in blowout fashion as well as the Bucks produced another statement win.
Khris Middleton played his role in the win with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. This was the three-time All-Star’s second career triple-double, which was almost spoiled by head coach Doc Rivers. Middleton made sure, though, that this wasn’t going to be the case.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Khris Middleton Calls Out Doc Rivers
The Bucks were up big late in the fourth quarter when Rivers decided to call a timeout. At that point, the veteran shot-caller seemed intent on yanking his starters after determining that the game was already out of hand.
Middleton had no intention of sitting on the bench before he secured his triple-double, though, and he made sure to let his coach know about it:

Rivers probably wasn’t aware of the fact that Middleton was just one point away from getting the trip-dub, and the Bucks shot-caller graciously let his star forward have his way. Middleton remained in the game and he ended up scoring on Milwaukee’s next possession.
The 32-year-old then committed an intentional foul to allow himself to exit the game. It was mission accomplished for Middleton at that point, and you can clearly see the big smile on his face as he headed to the bench.
