The Milwaukee Bucks lost for a fourth time in their last five games on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies, 111-101. The Bucks squandered a great opportunity to get back to winning ways at home against an undermanned Grizzlies side after going 1-2 in a recently concluded three-game road spell.
Coach Doc Rivers isn’t at all pleased with his team’s performance of late, and the veteran shot-caller has decided to call out his team amid their current slump.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Doc Rivers Does Not Hold Back

Speaking after Wednesday’s loss against a 26-50 Memphis squad, Rivers did not pull back any punches. The one-time NBA champion coach called out his team for having what he believes is a completely unacceptable attitude of late:
“Everybody seems happy, except for me,” Rivers said (h/t Bleacher Report on Twitter).

Rivers wasn’t done. He expounded on his call-out by pointing out that every single member of the squad has failed to bring the right type of mindset in their everyday dealings:
“I’ve actually been sitting back and watching everything,” he said. “Not just our players but our travel crew, everything. … We don’t bring the necessary professionalism, seriousness on the road.”
Rivers is never afraid to call it as it is, and he’s not held back with his criticism here. It’s an undeniably brutal bit of commentary to hear for the squad, but perhaps this is exactly the wake-up call the Bucks need as the postseason approaches.

Right now, the Bucks still have a relatively strong grip on the No. 2 seed in the East. They still have a 1.5-game advantage over the third-placed Cleveland Cavaliers with six games remaining on their schedule.
Nevertheless, as Rivers has so blatantly pointed out, now is not the time for Milwaukee to lose its focus on its ultimate goal.
