The Milwaukee Bucks were given a proper scare on Tuesday night against the Boston Celtics after Giannis Antetokounmpo was forced to exit in the third quarter due to a non-contact injury. The former back-to-back MVP was unable to return as he had to undergo tests to determine the extent of the problem.

This isn’t a complete surprise. Judging by how Antetokounmpo just collapsed to the ground after sustaining the injury on Tuesday night, it did look like he was going to be out for a considerable period.
The big question now is whether or not the Milwaukee talisman will be ready for the Playoffs, which start in nine days’ time.
The Bucks won Tuesday’s marquee showdown against the league-best Celtics despite losing their main man. They currently lie in second place in the East, but only 2.5 games separate them from the sixth-seeded Indiana Pacers.
Milwaukee will need to soldier on without Giannis and win as many games as they can in the final stretch to avoid falling in the standings. This starts with a crucial matchup against the No. 4 seed Orlando Magic on Wednesday.
