FOX Sports personality Nick Wright did not hold back in his savage takedown of Patrick Beverley following the Milwaukee Bucks veteran guard’s antics during and following their 120-98 Game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers on the road on Thursday.
Nick Wright Savagely Tears Down Milwaukee Bucks’ Patrick Beverley in Scorching Take
Wright decided to put Beverley in the crosshair after Beverley was caught on camera throwing a ball at a fan during the Indiana game and denying an ESPN reporter the chance to interview him after learning that she was not a subscriber of his podcast. Wright went through the entire NBA career of Beverley in his tirade, beginning with the player’s time with the Houston Rockets and including his many stops with other NBA teams such as the Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Bucks.
And you went from that to whatever you’ve become, a delusional, cheap shot artist, misogynistic clown, promoting your podcast at the expense of your career, which to its credit, let me check, while still behind Andy Roddick’s tennis podcast and your own teammate’s pod, you are ahead of Bear Grease by Clay Newcomb. So good luck with it. So how did you get here? And how did Pat Bev become a guy that we talk about despite the basketball reference page?
Wright wouldn’t be surprised if Beverley had already played his last game in the league.
And you ended that tenure by throwing a basketball at a woman’s head, getting it back, throwing it at another fan and then yelling at another woman in the locker room because she doesn’t listen to your terrible podcast. So if this was your last moment in the league, good riddance, won’t be missed, won’t be memorable. I mean, congrats for creating something out of thin air like the Wizard of Oz.
Regardless of which side you’re on, you to to hand it to Wright for providing us with one of the wildest and most entertaining monologues in recent memory.
