We all know that Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards can get up there with the best of them. Well, the two-time All-Star just showed us what he’s truly capable of on Monday night against the Utah Jazz. This came in the form of a truly jaw-dropping poster slam over John Collins, who will probably want to press charges against Edwards after that violent play.

Edwards’ insane dunk came in the third quarter of Monday’s encounter. The Wolves youngster got a full head of steam on a fastbreak play, which more often than not, does not end well for the opposition. Tell that to John Collins:

In case you were wondering, no, Collins was not crying on the floor after being posterized in such a heartbreaking manner. It seems that the Jazz big man got poked in the eye, which had him grabbing his face after hitting the deck. Either that or he just had to hide his face in embarrassment after that play.
Anthony Edwards’ Savage Reaction to Dunk of the Year Contender
As you may have noticed, Edwards immediately examined his left hand as soon as he landed from the slam. After the game, the 22-year-old revealed that he thought he had dislocated his finger with the utter force of his dunk.
He did call Collins a “lil’ a** ni**a,” though:
