New York Knicks forward Josh Hart went viral last year when he expressed his curiosity about breast milk. As it turns out, the Villanova product did try it for himself before games, leading to some of the best performances of his NBA career.
During a recent “Roommates Show” episode with New York Knicks teammate Jalen Brunson as his co-host, their guest, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, was asked whether he drank breast milk before, and the six-time Pro Bowler admitted that he didn’t like the taste. However, Josh Hart tried to convince Chad Johnson to give it another try.
“It’s horrible, though,” said Johnson. “I know what it tastes like, but I didn’t put my mouth on the nipple. It’s bad.”
“I did a little taste test. I feel like it would probably taste like, a little better from the source because you get the full experience,” explained Josh Hart. “My first year having triple-doubles, rebounding numbers, could be part of the breast milk.”
Josh Hart is balling for the New York Knicks this season thanks to breast milk (?)
Josh Hart has taken a larger role for the New York Knicks this season with Julius Randle and OG Anunoby sidelined for long spells. In 75 regular-season games this campaign, he has averaged 9.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists. The 8.3 rebounds per game average is the highest of his NBA career.
In the New York Knicks’ 124-99 blowout victory over the Detroit Pistons last week, Josh Hart recorded his sixth triple-double of the season, joining Walt Frazier, Micheal Ray Richardson, Richie Guerin, and Julius Randle as the only players in franchise history to achieve such a feat.
Against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday, Josh Hart scored a season-high 31 points in the 120-109 victory for the New York Knicks.
The New York Knicks probably won’t mind if Josh Hart drinks more breast milk if it is scientifically proven to be the real cause of his superb performances, especially considering that they are vying for a top-four spot in the Eastern Conference.
