Bronny James’ NBA draft stock has improved in the last few weeks, as he continues to be listed in the two-round mock drafts released by major media outlets like ESPN and Bleacher Report.

The USC product is still projected to be selected in the second round. After draft experts Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo had him going to the Boston Celtics with the No. 54 pick last week, this time, Bronny James is pegged to go to the Golden State Warriors with the No. 52 pick, two notches above his previous place.
Should it happen, Bronny James would see himself being teammates with Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson – his father’s main rivals in the NBA Finals from 2015 to 2018 when he was still with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, in Bleacher Report’s latest edition of the 2024 mock draft, Jonathan Wasserman has Bronny James going to the Los Angeles Lakers with the No. 55 overall pick which would see him join forces with his dad.
Draymond Green speaks highly of Bronny James
Drafting Bronny James might not be a bad idea for the Golden State Warriors, especially after Draymond Green spoke glowingly of the 19-year-old in his podcast last month.
“Yes, I think Bronny will be a successful player in the NBA,” Green said about the younger James. “At worst, Bronny is an NBA-level defender that can knock a shot down, a 3-and-D guy, and we got those all over the NBA.”
“(He) can pressure the ball and, at worst, be a backup point guard that can pick up full-court, that can put pressure on another team’s lead guard (and) can come in and change the tempo on the defensive end,” he added.

Other than getting a player with good potential, picking Bronny James might open a possibility that his father, LeBron, would follow him to the Bay.
Earlier this week, Klutch Sports Group CEO Rich Paul revealed that LeBron James is expected to be a free agent this summer.
