Kyrie Irving was the talk of the town in Dallas on Monday as he made sure that the Dallas Mavericks would not end the week on a sour note. The former Duke Blue Devils guard delivered the game-winning bucket for the Mavs when he sank a lefty runner to seal the deal for Dallas, which came away with a 107-105 victory at the expense of the reigning league champions.
Not only that but Irving’s tough shot also put him in an exclusive company of active NBA players with at least a game-winner with at least three different clubs in the NBA, according to OptaSTATS:
Kyrie Irving has hit a game-winning buzzer beater for three different teams in his career (BOS, BKN & DAL). Only two other active NBA players have hit game-winning buzzer beaters for three different teams: Harrison Barnes (GSW, DAL & SAC) & Derrick Rose (CHI, MIN & DET).
Dallas Mavericks Star Kyrie Irving’s Resume As An Elite Clutch Performer Grows

Stepping up when it mattered the most isn’t new for Irving. All one needs to know to believe that claim is to watch his go-ahead 3-pointer in Game 7 of the legendary 2016 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.
Irving remains a very potent offensive weapon for the Mavericks, who will not shy away from a chance to get the former No. 1 pick overall the ball when the pressure is at its highest.

Irving, who had 24 points versus the Nuggets, is averaging 25.4 points 5.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists while shooting nearly 50 percent from the field, so far in the 2023-24 NBA regular season.
