Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green caught fire on Tuesday night as he helped lead the Dubs to a massive win over LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, 134-120. The former Defensive Player of the Year knocked down five out of his seven attempts from deep in this one as Golden State cut their deficit against the Lakers for the No. 9 seed in the West to just half a game.
Green got so hot on Tuesday that it prompted some pretty lofty praise from Hall of Famer Reggie Miller.
Golden State Warriors News: Draymond Green Does NOT Want That Smoke
During his post-game interview, Green was informed that Miller, who was part of the broadcast team, wanted to dub him as a “Splash Cousin.” The Warriors veteran got brutally honest with his response:
“I appreciate the compliment but I don’t want that pressure,” Green said with a huge smile across his face. “I don’t need that pressure. The way them guys shoot the ball, I had a night, I’ll take my night, but I don’t need that pressure.”

For their part, the actual Splash Brothers did their thing against the Lakers. Klay Thompson knocked down five triples for a team-high 27 points, while Stephen Curry went a perfect 6-of-6 from beyond the arc for 23 points.
That’s now two straight wins for the Dubs, who have three games remaining on their schedule before the Play-In Tournament commences.
