Draymond Green played a pivotal role in the Golden State Warriors’ 134-120 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night at the Crypto.com Arena. The four-time All-Star had a hot hand in this one, knocking down five out of his seven attempts from deep.
Green, however, had a few things to say about how the game was officiated, and unsurprisingly, the outspoken Dubs talisman wasn’t at all pleased by the referees’ performance on the evening.
Golden State Warriors News: Draymond Green Blatantly Calls Out Refs

Green has been in a bit of trouble with the refs of late. Just last week, the former Defensive Player of the Year was ejected just four minutes into their game with the Orlando Magic — an incident that made all sorts of waves across the basketball world.
At one point in Tuesday’s game, Green’s Warriors teammates were seen pulling him back during a heated conversation with the game official. According to Draymond, he was happy that Stephen Curry was there to witness the type of double standards he unfairly receives from NBA referees:
“Steph was standing there, which was great because he heard how the referee talked to me. He went immediately from talking to me to like, (to the ref) ‘Yo, you can’t talk to him like that,'” Green said. “I think that’s the whackest part about it. You can say and speak to me however you feel but if I say something back it’s a tech. That’s whack to me.”

Green then pointed out how the refs missed a call during the game when he got hit in the face. For the Warriors star, this is an all too familiar occurrence that he’s getting fed up with:
“I get hit in the face every single game and I get no foul called,” he said. “I hit someone in the face, I get thrown under the jail. But when I get hit in the face, we don’t see it. I get hit in the face every single night and I’m not sure one time it’s been called. I f**king blow my breath on somebody and we’re reviewing for a flagrant foul. I don’t get it. It’s crazy to me.”
