The Los Angeles Clippers suffered one of their most disappointing losses of the season on Sunday at the hands of a Philadelphia 76ers side that was missing the services of superstar big man Joel Embiid.
James Harden shot the ball poorly against his former team, but he was still able to finish with a 12-point, 14-assist double-double in LA’s 121-107 defeat at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday.
As it turns out, however, Harden was not at all pleased by the outcome of the contest. So much so, that the former NBA MVP reportedly walked out on his team right after the loss.
James Harden Left Los Angeles Clippers Locker Room After Loss

Apparently, Harden was not in the mood to take part in his team’s post-game meeting. According to Sixers reporter Gina Mizell of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the 10-time All-Star also chose not to stay to talk to the media after the loss:
“James Harden left the Clippers locker room before Ty Lue even began his postgame press conference, when locker room wasn’t yet open to media,” Mizell reported.

No further details were provided as to why Harden decided to leave the locker room early, without even having the chance to listen to what head coach Ty Lue was going to say after the loss. For all we know, Harden may have had to attend to some sort of emergency that forced him to leave the arena early.
Either way, it’s hard not to read into this situation. After all, this is James Harden we’re talking about here, and we all know that this dude has been involved in his fair share of drama through the years.
In fact, if you ask former NBA star Chandler Parsons, he believes that Harden’s actions could have detrimental effects on the squad:
"It's such a bad look. It's no story if you just talk and you own up to it and say you had an off night."

Harden and the Clippers are in action again on Monday night, this time facing Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers.
