The arrival of James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers to the team to another level this season. For John Wall, though, the addition of the Beard greatly improves their chance of bagging the NBA championship this year.

Just last season, the Clippers finished the regular season in fifth place. Their offense was 16th in the league while their defense ranked 18th. And even though they made the playoffs, they were quickly dispatched by Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns.

This season, Harden has taken Los Angeles’ offense to another level as the team’s rating on that end of the court has gone up to fifth-place. The Clippers now hold the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 42-24 record.

For his part, Harden’s numbers have dipped. Over the course of 60 games, the All-Star point guard has averaged 17.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 8.3 assists as the Cilppers’ starting point guard this season.

After playing 34 games for the Clippers last season, former NBA guard John Wall was traded to the Houston Rockets, and eventually waived by his former team. Speaking in an episode of The OGs Show, the former All-Star point guard gives his taken on whether the Clippers can win it all this year.

Can the Clippers make some noise this post season? 🤔

Apart from highlighting Ty Lue as a great coach, Wall emphasized how Harden was criticized at the start of the season for claiming he is the system any team must build around. The former Washington Wizards star then said that what Harden said is true and the Clippers are better for it.

With the playoffs drawing closer, it’s only a matter of time before contending teams will be tested on the court. By then, everyone will know whether Wall’s prediction will come true or not.
