The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off a massive win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night. The game required two overtime periods to determine a winner, though, which means that the Lakers will have some pretty heavy legs when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday on the second night of a back-to-back set.
This is also why fans have been closely monitoring the injury status of both LeBron James and Anthony Davis heading into their Grizzlies showdown.
Los Angeles Lakers Announce LeBron James, Anthony Davis Injury Statuses Vs. Grizzlies
LeBron sat out on Wednesday night, while Davis played a whopping 52 minutes against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. This is also why it comes as no surprise that James has been cleared to play, while Davis has been downgraded to out against Memphis:

LeBron, who has been playing through an Achilles injury of late, should be fresh and good to go for Wednesday’s bout. He will need to lead LA to a much-needed victory against a struggling Memphis side as the Lakers look to improve on their positioning out West.
LA enters Wednesday’s game with a 40-32 record and is just two games behind the Sacramento Kings and the Phoenix Suns, who are tied for the seventh spot in the conference.
As for Davis, the nine-time All-Star exploded on Tuesday against Milwaukee for 34 points and 23 rebounds. This man deserves a night off, but he should be back in the mix when the Lakers return to action on Friday against the Indiana Pacers.
