LeBron James showcased another facet of his game on Sunday as he led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 116-104 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Not only did the 20-time All-Star tie his season high of 40 points, but he did so by going 9-of-10 on his attempts from beyond the arc.
Believe it or not, at this point in the season, the numbers state that LeBron is a more efficient 3-point marksman than the GOAT shooter himself, Stephen Curry.
Los Angeles Lakers Star LeBron James’ 3-Point Efficiency Beats Out Steph Curry
In 65 games played this season, James is knocking down a career-best 41.6 percent from deep. He’s draining 2.2 triples per game at an unprecedented rate — at least by his standards.
Curry, on the other hand, is averaging 4.8 treys per contest on a 40.3 percent clip. This only means that efficiency-wise, it’s LeBron who’s outgunning Steph from beyond the arc.

As the above tweet said, this isn’t an April Fools Joke. As hard as it is to believe, James is shooting at a better rate from distance as compared to the greatest shooter of all time.
Now that’s something I didn’t think I would ever say. Then again, LeBron does have a knack for achieving the seemingly impossible.
Obviously, Steph is taking significantly more attempts from deep. He’s also knocking down close to five triples per game, which is actually no longer a surprise by Curry’s standards.
Nevertheless, there’s no denying that LeBron’s efficiency advantage is a noteworthy factoid. This speaks volumes of how James has further enhanced his outside game this season. In Year 21.
