NBA news: Throughout an illustrious 19-year NBA career, Hall of Fame big man Shaquille O’Neal had the opportunity to play with some of the greatest players to have ever picked up a basketball. Shaq is no scrub himself — seen by many as one of, if not the most dominant center ever — but he’s certainly had his fair share of all-time great teammates.
Two of those legends are Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade, either of whom were on O’Neal’s side when he won all four of his championship rings. Apparently, there is one player in the NBA today who reminds him of his two superstar former teammates.
NBA News: Shaq Sings Anthony Edwards’ High Praises

Shaq was part of the NBA on TNT crew that provided coverage for Tuesday’s Western Conference showdown between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Clippers. During the halftime show, O’Neal took notice of Wolves star Anthony Edwards as the legendary big man heaped praise on the young guard:
“He reminds me of a young DWade and a young Kobe. He’s going to score, he’s going to get his every time,” Shaq said of Edwards. “I respect the kid, I love the kid because he wants it. … He plays like, “You know what, you will remember the name Anthony Edwards.'”

There’s no denying that Shaq is an authority when it comes to all things Kobe and DWade, so for him to say this about Edwards definitely holds a lot of stock.
True enough, Edwards stepped it up on Tuesday, leading Minnesota to a 118-100 victory over the Clippers. The 22-year-old finished with 37 points with five triples in another amazing display of offensive prowess.
The sky’s the limit for this kid.
