Bronny James has declared for the 2024 NBA Draft, but he’s retaining his college eligibility and transfer away from the USC Trojans should he deem it better for his career to return to college basketball. So where would Bronny land should he go to the NBA?

Bronny’s dad is in LA, and LeBron has a player option for the 2024-25 season. So in order for the Purple and Gold to keep the superstar, they might opt to take his son in the upcoming draft. After all, the four-time NBA MVP has been vocal about his desire to play alongside his kid.
Based on the latest odds on DraftKings, the Lakers are at +350 to draft Bronny in the 2024 annual rookie selection. The Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks are at a similar +900 to make a run for the former USC guard, while the Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers round out the Top 5 at +1000 odds each.
Other teams mentioned are the Los Angeles Clippers (+1500), Atlanta Hawks (+1600), Miami Heat (+1600), San Antonio Spurs (+2000), Milwaukee Bucks (+2000), Memphis Grizzlies (+2000), Golden State Warriors (+2000), via FOX sports.

The youngster also has the physical tools to be a solid NBA contributor, though that has yet to be really tested. As fans who followed Bronny closely would know, he didn’t really get the best start in his collegiate career after a cardiac issue derailed his journey.
For now, Bronny will be assessing his options and make his decision with regards to his future when the timing is right.
