There are thousands of athletes in college basketball, but only a handful can match or overpower the popularity Nebraska Cornhuskers sharpshooter Keisei Tominaga has built for himself.
Keisei Tominaga is one of the most popular college cagers in the country for his attractive style of play that translates well to the NBA as well as his charming attitude. Called the Japanese Steph Curry, he’s been a fixture in both the Cornhuskers roster as well as the Japanese national team.
Now that his college career is done and dusted, he’s preparing for life outside basketball. One of his most recent life updates will make his fans especially happy.

Tominaga, who played three years for the Cornhuskers after spending the first two years of his college career at Ranger College in Texas, proposed to his girlfriend Hannah Fitzpatrick.
According to The Spun’s Daniel Bates, fans immediately swarmed the player with congratulatory messages:
“Shooters shoot,” the Huskers social media account said. “Congrats @KeiseiTominaga!”

“What year they have both had. So happy for them!” a Nebraska writer commented.
Congratulations to Keisei and Hannah for taking the next step in their relationship!
What are Keisei Tominaga’s hopes of making the NBA?
While Tominaga has been a phenomenal basketball player to watch, it’s hard to deny that age and stat line in his final year of college play don’t make him appealing to many NBA scouts.
Tominaga finished his final season of hoops with 15.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. He’s shooting at a respectable 46.6% on the floor with a 37.6% clip from distance.
The Sporting News has Tominaga being drafted in the late second round, but it’s also within the realm of possibility to go undrafted. It might become a challenge for him to get into the league.
