Whenever the ball is in Anthony Edwards’ hands, there’s a pretty good chance he’s going to make something memorable with it on the court. That’s exactly what happened when the Minnesota Timberwolves star went viral with his insane dunk and his teammates are celebrating it with him.
Just recently, Edwards became the talk of the town when he delivered a thunderous dunk over Utah Jazz forward John Collins. Around the third quarter, the All-Star shooting guard took possession, passed the ball to Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and received it back from him to set up the poster.
Edwards’ majestic leap over Collins and the loud finish after shook everyone in attendance and those who have watched it online. And even though both the Timberwolves star and Collins were hurt, the dunk itself is one that made jaws drop everywhere.
Fortunately, Minnesota went home with the 114-104 win over Utah. Edwards posted 32 points, including the poster dunk on Collins, seven rebounds, and eight assists. Naz Reid stepped up in Karl-Anthony Towns’ absence to tally 17 points and four rebounds.

Shortly after, Clark was acknowledging Alexander-Walker as the guy who set Edwards up for the dunk. In response, the Timberwolves reserve shooting guard said all he saw was Minnesota’s franchise player taking off without the need to dribble. Also, he also acknowledged his reaction on the court and saw hoe energetic it was.
By the end of the video, Edwards’ teammates were huddling around, including All-Star center Rudy Gobert. Without a doubt, that dunk will be talked about in the months to come.
